We are committed to serving our community by providing positive art experiences for youth and families. We love collaborating and working with community partners. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org to get involved!
The goal of our scholarship program is to support families with children who love art, and would benefit from exposure to art and art-making. Numerous studies show that art can have a positive effect on young children. A December 2015 NEA Literature review, for example, found connections between the arts and social and emotional skills. We believe that exposing kids to art at an early age shows them that art is all around us - it connects us with each other, to our environment and all academic subjects. We want everyone to have the opportunity to participate in our art programs regardless of economic status. Contact us to see how you can help or how you can be a scholarship recipient.
Visiting Artist Program
Since opening in June 2015, Make Studio has hosted several Teaching Artists in our art enrichment programming. These individuals offered professional expertise and new perspectives to our art programs, enriching our arts culture and providing new opportunities for young creatives!
